You're not wrong about marketing wanks. I've seen more than a fair share of them myself and thought "Hang on...that's not right..." or just smirked at it and shook my head as I put the product back.

Just goes to show how much wank is talked about global warming, greenhouse gases and all the other enviromentalist claptrap if a company like Dyson expects consumers to be convinced by this !! Having said that, the ONLY clever thing about Dyson vacs is that Mr Dyson re-deployed a technique that has been used in industry since forever !!

why not list the real advantages of BLDC motors? higher efficiency, longer life, zero maintenance, consistent performance, etc.
there is plenty of room on the box and they get to keep what integrity they have left. dyson builds a quality product, no need to hide behind douchebag marketing buzzwords.
btw, i prefer my Made In The USA 8lb Oreck XL over my malaysian built Dyson animal.

@johnfranks Yeah, marketing go to all the trouble to invent and/or manipulate shit, yet they miss doing even the simplest basic stuff that should be their job, which for a quality product is pretty darn easy.
