I completely agree with that! - That is why we should depend on nanotechnology. I know that there must be risks involved in any type of medical treatment, but from what the researchers have found so far, nanotechnology can manipulate DNA to destroy other DNAs in the body, and get rid of the HIV/AIDS virus, therefore, so far, nanotechnology is the only treatment avilable and with the least amount of risks.

It's difficult to imagine how anyone could embrace such a concept, especially considering the implications of this proposal. What, does humanity now think that being part of the Borg hive is a good thing? Bio/nanotechnology is one of the worst possible, nightmarish scenarios ever to confront the human experience. Good point hawat81, companies "hiding" research from each other because they want to be the one's who find the potential cure and can be the company who rake the profit's is pretty, well, disgusting, its putting greed before human health. Ive heard stem cells are promising in not a cure, but a permanent treatment that stops HIV's ability to kill cells by implanting hiv resistant cells and letting them multiply.

WoW, hope this is true! If sciencist doesn't have God inside, technology doesn't worth. Hope powerful Governments bear in mind millions of people needs a cure and they don't really mind to create technology for war purposes, they CANNOT WAIT.

I couldn't help thinking of David Icke saying "Problem Reaction Solution" to explain the way our government creates something like the aids virus, presents a pre-packaged solution, extracts lots of money from us, and then creates a new problem like chipped or remotely operated nannites - Ultimately, this will further a more insidious plot.
