What a douche bag. This theatrical display doesn't help in the passage of legislation. All this does is create PERSONAL animosity between lawmakers and prevent any cooperation. Oh but Weiner thought he was so special --- and pride goeth before the fall.

I am not condoning Anthony Weiner's actions because what he did in my mind is indefensible. However, I do like him as a politician because of what he fought for. I also know enough about him to say that he'll will be back on television soon because he is not an average politician and was a media savvy politician. Speeches like this one did not make him too many friends in Washington,so for that reason, he was ultimately forced out of office.

People are so fucking judgmental. This guy is hilarious, he's clearly intelligent and a good congressman...unfortunately, he's only a man. Given this limitation, he will make mistakes. Apparently the rest of us are immune to this, or at least the neo-cons are. McCormickn, I don't understand how Anthony Weiner's sleeziness is at all relevant to what happens in the rest of the world. Oh, and there's plently of reason to hate the military...they kill people. That's their nature.
