I don't think they meant much by the song. Seems like a very misfits inspired song. Which was just horror based subject matter presented in music. Thing is originally punk had to do with outrage and anarchy. It died in the 80s in the UK and in the later 80s in the US. Because finally when the world said, "WHAT DO YOU WANT?!" There was really no option for them so the real punks went home and moved on with their lives. Now it's all aesthetic. Just a bunch of whiny pussies nowadays.
