I honestly don't think this was all about political calculation. I think Clinton was simply stating that she would prefer that governors don't sign on to such a policy, but with the unfortunate lack of immigration reform on the federal level, it was an understandable action. She refused to completely endorse the policy for political purposes, obviously, which is what got her into trouble, but the crux of her argument was not, in my view, an attempt to skirt the issue.

If you read the book "Game Change" about the 2008 election, it says that this is where the tide turns in Obama's favor.

Instead of answering the question in a way that would leave no room for interpretation, she goes ahead and blames Tim Russert of "gotcha" politics. Utterly shameful. This is typical Hillary, trying to please everybody but proving her conniving and disingenuous ways in the process.

If you dont see the flip-flop here you need not to comment any longer on politics...maybe blogs about making cookies or lawn care would be a better fit.

What is beyond understanding is that how Americans would use people and drop 'em off when it is Americans turn to return the favor.Like someone rightly put, there is a lot of lack of morality and human consciousness in Americans. I am not quoting "all" but there is a majority of peeps in here.
