http://www.HarrimanTravelBooks.com This travelogue colorfully illustrates one of Austria's most picturesque and popular tourist destinations: SALZBURG. Narrated and produced by travel writer Brett Harriman, this video calls out to those who are curious for knowledge, have an adventurous side, like to have fun, enjoy the outdoors, and are affected by irrepressible bouts of wanderlust.

  • Beautiful video, I like this!

  • @mimabakica: Thank you! And thanks for commenting. Cheers!

  • Hey, I'm moving to Salzburg to study this coming September and I was wondering what the nightlife was like?? I'm 20 so was looking at a club scene as opposed to bars/pubs but as I'm Irish I'm sure I'll be frequenting many in my stay. Help would be great as it's hard to find decent accounts of the entertainment available (apart from sound of music tours etc.)

Lucky you to study in Salzburg. To find out the hottest clubs this season start your evening at the Shamrock Irish pub in the Old Town. From the English-speaking bartenders as well as the patrons you'll find out everything you want to know about what clubs are hot and not. Cheers!

  • hi, somebody can help me to say a good camping in salzburg ?! pls tell me today... thx

  • Hi ProTV,

To say "camping" in German is "camping," the same word. To find good camping in Salzburg, try either Camping Panorama (3km north of Old Town, open mid-March thru Oct, office generally 7:30-23:00), or try Campground Schloss Aigen (5km southwest of Old Town, open May-Sept, office generally 7:30-22:45). If you are traveling by car, I'd stay at the latter campground -- it's more peaceful, rural. If you're traveling by train, I'd recommend staying at a hostel. Happy travels!

  • I was lucky enough to go on an excursion to Obersalzberg and Salzburg when I was in the Army stationed in Frankfurt. I stayed at the General Walker. Thank you so much for posting these videos. They bring back some wonderful memories.
