Sono senza parole. Questa maniera di suonare il barocco.. non è barocco. Vale di più un Melkus, almeno apparteneva ad un contesto ben chiaro, una scuola. Non c'è una messa di voce a pagarla oro, un ritardando; il recitativo non è recitativo.. Mi dispiace per lui e per chi lo apprezza ma non han capito nulla. Dove gli affetti? E tutto quel vibrato? E i trilli ribattuti? E' uno strazio viscerale. Un pastrocchio. Ma questo giovane ha mai letto qualche trattato dell'epoca? Fabrizio

I never get tired of listening to Giovanni Meali's La Cesta. Just about any rendition sounds beautiful particularly the dramatic sequence starting around 4:43.

He play one of my favorite composer very very well! I played "La Mellana" from opus 3 one year ago. Fantastic music! Congratulations!
