Michael Moeller - A Song for an Actress

http://amonthofunrequitedlove.com/ A Month of Unrequited Love is a collection of 31 songs, which will be released through this website during one month, starting May 1st. It's an attempt to make a different musical unity on the internet. All songs deal with unrequited love. It's not quite as depressing as it might sound. Some of it might be.

Every day through May 2011 a new song will be uploaded on this website. Every song is available for free download on the day of upload; after that it's for streaming only. All 31 songs will be removed from the server shortly after the end of the project. After this they can be purchased through the iTunes store.

A Month of Unrequited Love is an internet release. If you'd like to have CD or vinyl copies of this project you can help make it happen by donating. You can support the production of double CD's and triple vinyl releases of the entire bunch of songs. If the production costs are not reached no money is withdrawn from your account. Still working on it, links should be up soon.

If you like the songs you are also very welcome to support the artist by donating directly to yours truly. It'll help me continuing my work.

If you are Danish or at least stay here during May you can get the songs in live versions as well. I play a few concerts throughout the month. All concerts mainly focus on songs from this project and I only play songs, which have already been released. In other words the set list will differ from concert to concert and there'll always be new songs in the set. For more details check out the concerts section.

Nice song, a hark back to songs that concentrated on a flow of nice harmonic/chord changes underlying a sensitively sung melody, and lyrics that owe quite a bit to a subconscious mode of writing e.g. who's Natalie?... it doesn't matter...it rings out, it fits, it could never be any other way. Beautiful stuff. By the way, I'm not Danish, I'm Welsh, currently living in the north of England.

I've seen (and filmed) Michael and band live last week in Copenhagen.

He said it is about his love to Natalie Portman indeed. Nice concert it was. You can have a look on my channel. It's almost one hour video in 3 parts.

My guess is Natalie is the actress, but don't know which one :) (Natalie Wood, Natalie Portman, maybe someone unknown, maybe just a name which fits well in the song :))
