Shemesh, the Sun Conure, breaks out of his cage. He does this n a daily basis. We need to be extra careful about it because he shares his home with 3 kitties who find him very interesting.
@robinh1020 That's OK - we're not actually 100% sure what he/she is. The breeder told us that you need to do a blood test to know for sure. That's just the way Sun Conures seem to be. Shemesh is a unisex name. If we ever find out what he/she is, we won't have to change her/his name :)
@robinh1020 She is so much fun and so smart. She doesn't talk (Sun Conures can say about 5 words) but she does make kissing noises. She hangs out on my arm most of the day. We have a lot of fun together :)
He's beautiful! Does he talk? My cockatiel had a cage he learned to get out of, too. Whoever used "bird brains" as a way to call people stupid was wrong! Birds are extremely intelligent!
