That is wrong--it is not a dark force. It is the life force of all being. If you're saying that the natural forces of the universe are "dark" and evil, then I feel sad for you, as you must find it terrifying to inhabit your body and this earth.

Yoga is intended to create a harmonious relationship both among all aspects of the self and between the self and the universe. It was first practiced in monasteries, not by "witch doctors," as you claim. The goal is enlightenment.

if we reach way back to yogas origins you can fnd it was practice by the hindu witch doctors to call spirits up

@frank0067 This is a misleading comment. Kundalini is essentially a universal physical force--as above so below. Just like electricity, it should be handled with care, knowledge, and responsibility. Otherwise, it could harm or kill just like a powerful current of electricity. The danger of yoga is believing that this power can be made to serve an ego with impure intentions. Why do you think this teacher mentioned connecting to intention throughout? It is exactly to avoid this spiritual threat.
