Neat video..I was on a plane heading into O'Hare and we got hit by lightning...It was the LOUDEST sound that I had ever heard, and the plane just dropped! It was scary but we landed fine, but 3 hours later after changing flights and continuing on, I was still shaking! Not a fun time, but all flights since then have been fine!:)

I once flew through a thunderstorm about Mexico City, pletty impressive few indeed.

Heh ever fly into a Thunderstorm at night. Whoo wee that is an experience. I was on a red-eye flight from Seattle to Dallas, and a severe storm just happened to be over the airport at the time. Plane was hit by lightning twice and we pierced one of the thunderheads (I could tell because the plane rose vertically for about 3 seconds then dropped like a stone. Everything was weightless in the cabin for around 2 seconds).
I never want to do it again.
