(which is completely uncomparable to some dog-killer) He's not trying to make something that portrays himself. He's using himself as a tool to inform people of this terrible thing so that something like it never happens again.

Metallica and Sufjan are completely different, you all realize that don't you? Sufan is more literal in his writing, making things more clear for the listener. Completly different spectrums, you should be ashamed. Enjoy this damn pure music.
