Rose got exactly what she deserved... for being stupid. She brought it on herself by following Elizabeth to the meeting place. As a servant, she should have just followed orders and pretended to know nothing. It's Elizabeth's troubles, not hers... unless she chose to take them upon herself.

As far as I am concerned, Elizabeth likes the perks of being in the upper class while pretending to be something she's not. She wants the excitement, but when it gets hot she takes the low road. Elizabeth is a downright coward.

i really quite despise Elizabeth; she thinks she's one of the people, but her parents are actually more sensitive to the lower classes than she is.

The Elizabeth character is well portrayed, there must have been many like her, but she is really just terribly spoilt and naive...........and bored. Rose is fantastic, in fact this is a very well written episode so difficult to achieve within the time limit. Thanks for posting it, you must have worked very hard on the editing.
