Dio manages to avoid his predetermined fate, Lavie gets in a couple good parting shots and Sophia takes over the whole world through the use of... Gundamic tactics?

Oh, and It's probably no surprise to anyone at this point, but there's quite a bit of musicalness to this one.

Animation is the rightful property of Gonzo Digimation and I do believe Funimation once they get that sorted out. Seriously, look for a box set in the near future if this has intruiged you. I've yet to get anything but thanks for the recomendation.

Last Exile is a little odd in that it was never based off a manga. It was always just intended to be it's own little 26 episode long anime. I'm sure if it had been more popular it would probably have spawned a spin-off manga, whatever they're called, but yeah, there is no manga to last exile.
