It's best not to get into these arguments at all. I get tired of seeing them on cow videos.
Humans are omnivores. We are meant to eat meat as well as vegetables, not JUST vegetables.
But like anything else, people over indulge in it, and make themselves sick over time.
Then there are people like me who eat red meat on occassion, but I still eat it. Because it's healthy, contains protein and iron as well as B vitamins.
That's why I eat it, not cause I don't love animals!

@SilkenWinds it is not true that it is healthy, vegetarian diet is much healthier and vegetarians live longer. also they dont get cardio(heart) diseases like non vegetarians and so many other health problems. people have been brainwashed to think that meat contains all the proteins, it contains excessive proteins only and there is nothing you can find in meat, which you cannot find in vegetarian diet ( including the protein, iron and B vitamins)

Most cows do NOT stand to calve, and pulling calves for the sake of pulling calves is never good for the cow or calf.
Giving birth is a natural process, cows are made to give birth. You don't interfere with a normal birth unless the cow has made no progress at all for at least an hour. She needs that time to stretch enough to allow the calf to pass, pull too soon (or at the wrong angle) and you'll rip her apart inside.

Uhmmm no that is not true at all. We have pulled LOTS of calves and have not had any issues with conception the following year. I am not sure where you get your info from.

That made my day :) Life is good

You really need to avoid pulling calves. If you pull the calf then the cow will probably not get pregant the next year due to the pulling. The cow above is doing an excellent job.
This comment has received too many negative votes show
very stupid owner not to pull the poor calf out clearly the animal is choking and caughing. The poor cow is usually standing she had a hard labor and was not fed properly. Shame on your farmer.. give cow birth control and keep the bull away or castrate him with anesthesia of course.

Your comments indicate a total lack of understanding. This is a dairy cow that was fed just fine through her entire pregnancy. I weighed her weekly and gave her several checkups each week to ensure that she was progressing just fine. Her labor was excellent, and completely natural for any cow. It can actually be bad for the cow to pull the calf, and many problems for the calf and cow are caused by people who pull prematurely. Shame on you for not knowing what you are talking about.
