For the sake of argument, A band can sound different on the Album, than on stage. Different doesn't have to mean worse. The album can have effects and edits that aren't able to be replicated live. All and all If I want to hear them live, I want to hear them live, I don't want a carbon copy of the album. I can stay home for that. So I hope they sound different.

Very true also, most venue's have different accoustics.. which makes the sound team work hard to sort things out but they sometimes can not do a thing!
