@pm41224 it was taken down by dvd. laserdisc didn't compete directly with vhs much after their initial introductions, but rather was marketed as a high-end alternative. you only had laserdisc if you were rich or anal about picture and sound quality (like me)

@Satlam Some... I'd say most. And if you were rich, you'd buy the CAV versions, and you would have to flip the disc or switch out every 20-30 minute.
