Prince decided to be a presenter at the AMA because he was trying to break down the myth of him being shy and reserved. Like in the movie "Under the Cherry Moon" he wanted to be totally opposite from "The Kid" persona from "Purple Rain".

@MrLover135 He never wore a Jeri curl. During the Purple Rain era he had his hair processed out and curled naturally.
