Build a Water Powered Mill

Many of the older communities in North America first appeared on a stream or river that was suitable for powering a water mill, either to saw wood or grind grain. This video discusses some of the history behind water mills and demonstrates the construction of a working model of a water powered mill. You can build a small water mill as a green energy project.
