Ah yes,the old Benny Hinn scare tactic,adopted by the masses wolrdwide.

Those verses have been misused and abused by every charismaniac charlatan that has stepped up on the soap box.

Relating that verse, in an attempt to justify this man's behavior reminds me of another scripture:

He who justifies the wicked, and he who condemns the just, both of them alike are an abomination to the LORD

It is very sad,unfortunate, and frustrating that they will not listen; especially in light of the fact that they are teaching other undisciplined and unlearned sheep these absurd and spiritually destructive behaviors.

They will call their bias a love for "sound doctrine," a "love for truth" or whatever, and I dont doubt that many of them are sincere, but in the final analysis it comes down to people who generally have very limited experience with the Holy Spirit and who "discern" out of theory, not practice. These are people who will ALWAYS require black and white explanations of supernatural phenomenon, which is systemic, cultural unbelief in a church that has trumped relationship with doctrine.

It's instructive what the toxic religionists call "righteous judgement." These are the same tradtionalists defending the status quo that we saw during Martin Luther's time, many with equal malicious ferver. These are people who confuse truth with tradition with zero sound Biblical basis to condemn. Its humorous to see them reach for Biblical applications to calm their fears. It is the same worldly denominational spirit in the church, and a simple inability to honor someone different.

@antioch7 Christ's call was to make disciples, not combat "heresy". If you want to be Biblical follow Paul. Paul addresses the corrupt and money hungry Pastors with indifference and ends his statement with "the love of Christ is still being preached and there is still a harvest". I suggest you actually follow the Bible rather than just read, analyze, and criticize.

I know Brandon (the guy in the video) and I've seen more fruit of the Spirit from him than many "holy" pastors or regular church goers.
