  • what mallets did u guys use?

  • Eh...i don't remember. Sorry =/

  • too slow when the high part is sweeping and the bottom is on the marimba/side.

    it'd be cooler faster.

  • We sped up on the repeat of that part. Going slower and then speeding up was part of the effect of the song.

  • By the way which part was easiest to learn?

  • We have a group of senior guys doing this for solo and ensemble tomorrow. :) But next year we're gonna have a group of percussion girls finally kick some butt with this.

  • @Mattmalhiotmusic I meant about my band director Dr. Stuber

  • @slashmane no, it was written by Mark ford, the former Percussion Arts Society president and University of north texas professor.

  • Good job cousin! :D Ya"ll did great!

  • Hey, major ups for the effort, but I did this my senior year of highschool. I was in the middle and had a bass player at the bottom and a choir girl at the top and we did it better. Anyone who's done this song can tell you edited it to make it easier. Again, though, having done it myself I know how challenging it is.

  • @tmd440

yeah, i am pretty sure, its a M250. you can tell by the name on the right, and the logo on the left :-)

  • @tmd440 it seems to be a musser !

  • HOLY S*** this was written about my band director or at least that's what DR. stuber said

  • HOLY SHIT this was written about my band director.
