i wan part of the 07-09 camp taji deplayment, c co, 1/27 with first seargeant Bass. was in the first stryker attack that took the life of my team leader, sgt.schoolcraft, rip in brother, i was sent back home with a gimped up left leg and the memories of a good man, and an even better soldier! One of the best group of guy's I have had the honor to work with. Many miles I have been on missions with the 1/27 and I can say first hand, these guy's get the job done. I was in FOB Mchenry from 2004 to 2006. 2007-2009 at Camp Taji. It was an honor to work and roll with you guys. IPLO/IPA.

Well done sanababeets! I was on FOB Gains Mills from '04 to "05 with Cco 1-27. 1SG Bass had taken over Cco a few months before I was moved to 2-27. I wish I had stayed with them to be in the Stryker BDE. Great Guy. Great unit.
