It's not just about being a racing boat when you supe up a ski boat. I had a used 2002 Mastercraft from a sponsored ski jumper who put a 410 Escalade engine and a deep pitched prop. It would pull around 65. Never jumped it though. Great for barefoot though.

@lakepunk its stock. we have pulled 12 skiers up for a pyramid before and 3 barefooters. This has over 500hp

used to have a 99 air with a 502. i think we hit about 58 or 59 in it.. but we just traded it in on a 07 superair 220, it goes about 40. so over powered, yet so fun

@damonh25 What year is the boat? In '01, the stock 502 python was rated at 430hp... Is about 60 gps?

@damonh25 actually it has 500 exactlly cuz its a 502 cubic inch if you change to stainless steel headers instead of cast headers you will gain 30 hp
