Michael Jai White as Jax? Jeri Ryan as Sonya Blade? Baraka and Reptile as homicidal maniacs? Can this be a movie or trailer for the upcoming Mortal Kombat 2010 game? E3 is around the corner people. I love Mortal Kombat, saw the legacy thing, now this, thought this would help sell me on it....but this sucks....props for being able to do what he did with like 7500 bucks but needs better story line. Baraka as a failed plastic surgeon who now is a 7th degree black belt fighting with a real life action star (this is believable how he knows martial arts) but a surgeon?

I rather likes this Baraka's back story, although I prefer my Reptile's backstory to be a long lost dinosaur.

i seen batman the dark knight twice in the theaters than brought the dvd. the way this was looking i would to double time this. see this 4 times in theaters and buy 2 dvds and possibly a blueray. this trailer rocked my a@# off!

@LuckyYousOwn well think of how fucking in depth the story line is in the mortal kombat games. each character and realm and individual game has some story to it. i personally think that the change is translated well enough to not be a sack of shit like dragonball evolution, like how in batman begins and the dark knight they made things a little more believable than in the comics and cartoons. just think back to how corny the first two mortal kombat movies were lol
