  • The Genesis trilogy didn't hold back - Spock dead and then the destruction of the most iconic spacecraft of all time..... heartbreaking....

  • I love the fact that someone went to the time and effort to at least GET the music, via by recording it from the films and eliminating most of the dialogue and sound effects. Shows that at least the fans give a damn about having a complete score of these films.

  • Not to mention the drama. KIrk lost his son...but then killed Kruge like a boss.

  • @alucard624 ITA. I was soooo disappointedwhen I bought the soundtrack and scores like these were missing and then they had some cheesy 80s version of the theme song added for what reason I have no idea.

  • @sm6175 Their simply nothing to show TOS era warp cores were as powerful or volatile as TNG warp cores. For all we know it wasn't possible to breach the warp core.

  • cool.

  • @flickmonger87 That would make sense considering the wear on the Photon tube when it was found and opened. It landed at the end of WOK in perfect condition.

  • @flickmonger87 who the hell knows, are we really going to quibble over an extra week or two, we don't really know now do we!

  • @gfedtyhfs Here's what I think: At the end of Wrath of Khan, sure, we saw how Spock died to repair the Warp Drive, but do you really think that the ship was able to travel at full speed right after getting ass-raped by Khan and the Reliant? No, so I'd say that the ship took about a week to get back. Add in a few days for David and Savik to get transferred and people to settle back down to life on Earth, and I'd say that Search for Spock picks up about 2-3 weeks after Wrath of Khan...

  • @sm6175 it was flipped cuz spock was in the original order ... in ST3 he was assumed dead

  • Final code: 000, Destruct 0 sets off a series of small charges to incinerate the hull section by section, followed by a much larger explosion which will destroy most of the saucer section.

Final code: 000, Destruct 1 results in an overload in the Warp Core. This Auto-Destruct is meant for deep space away from planets. The explosion is equivalent to 100-megatons.

Abort code had to be done before the 5-second mark and was Code 1-2-3 Continuity, Abort Destruct Sequence
