I love the Newcastle Metro- when they built it they should have built more stock and given other urban areas a similar metro system. I love the Metro Cammel cars- simple and functional.

Would anyone be able to tell me if the metro is conveniently in Camperdown area? like by Station road? and what train would that be? I'm not from there, but may be spending some time and want to be able to run around on my own etc. thanks in advance. and How long from that area to Newcastle Centre. Love that area!

wow, those ladies on the train look almost as unhappy as us in NYC lol. I been on these trains, family in Newcastle, Loved it. Can't wait to be back.

i like the metro when i go to town i get on at whitley bay nice station i always though they came in very fast and slow down fast
