@iamchevyman5 Loan defaults mostly by people who were signatories on sub-prime morages the government froced the banks to make. By "over-paid, under-qualified workers" wouldn't that be a reference to Union woekers?

I have lived in Michigan my entire life. In my experience, most people's disapproval of the former governor stems from their holding her responsibility for the collapse of the failing economy throughout the country under the Bush administration as a result of loan defaults, unfunded wars waged unilaterally, and the support of a false economy of over-paid, under-qualified workers.
