Canon's flagship EOS-1D Mark III is the most advanced EOS Digital SLR ever produced. It has a new 10.1 megapixel CMOS sensor (APS-H size) with Canon's EOS Integrated Cleaning System and a 3.0-inch LCD monitor with Canon's Live View technology. The 1D Mark III has a redesigned 100% viewfinder, a new 45-point AF system, and can shoot up to 10 fps continuously with a maximum burst of 110 shots. Dual "DIGIC III" Image Processors work in tandem to speed up every process while refining image quality; a new, lighter body has improved weather sealing and shutter durability. Every facet of the EOS experience has been enhanced with the 1D Mark III. It's the new standard.

why does canon have these so much video documentaries in youtube. isn't there a nikon equivalent of these videos in youtube? i've watched all the canon vids like these. and this time, i wanna look at nikon to be fair. i am a nikon entry level dslr user turning canon intermediate photographer. i just wanted to be fair and get lots of infos from both brands especially these types of video docus from youtube. thanks.

@rithoo56 Watch the Digitalrev video on the 7D verse Nikon D300s they are both about the same, the 7D video is miles ahead but, as in personal experience the d300s has better tracking and slightly better high iso performance

i see your point bro! thanks... canon needs some kind of additional booster for their products to sell out. they too make good products. it all goes down to the photographer's personal taste, and partly due to marketing strategies as well.

The AF is still not perfect, but is damn close. The image quality of mine is fab and I don't regret one minute buying mine in 2007, but the 1 D 4 is tempting , but I'm waiting for the 1 Ds 4, a serious Leica S2 beater!
