August 5th, 2009 in Grand Haven Michigan, The American Wind Symphony Orchestra under the direction of its founder Robert Boudreau gave the first public performance of The Goldstein Variation, which the orchestra commissioned from William Goldstein earlier in the year. The AWSO performs on a unique floating concert stage designed by the renowned architect Louis Khan. The score is available from Edition Peters. The original recording for Synthesizers can be found on the Switched On Classics album. ( The entire video, stills and audio were recorded on the Sony DSC T9)
