Today was the most 'exciting' day yet with an embedded collar and a trip to the vet, don't miss this saga! It involves some chows, some lab mixes, and some basset hounds, so give it a look see, and keep on keeping on for America's chained dogs. 152 dogs logged in 3 states in 3 days! Which means there are literally tens of thousands more in Missouri, Arkansas, and Louisiana.

Hey, maybe you guys should start posting the names and addresses of the people who have dogs chained up ... maybe that's what they need to wake up and start doing the right thing, namely unchaining their dogs.

I don't know what's worse: dogs that suffer from lack of food, adequate shelter and socialization because of breeder's greed, or the ignorant, uncaring people who chain dogs and leave them on to become embedded. I can't even imagine how painful a torture that must be. The owners should be made to wear one for an equal amount of time.

Back yard breeders need to go to jail. Tammy, I love your approach. Most people would be intimidated. A lot of these people are simply ignorant on HOW to take care of these dogs. Amazing.
