R.I.P hickstead. i read aout it new zealand horse and pony but i didnt pay much attention
now i feel horrible espescially for the rider. :( R.I.P

@Pliokota I agree. This was a freak accident, something that I hope will never happen again, but Eric handled it so professionally. He loved this horse and the horse loved Showjumping. Yes, I understand that riders and people alike were concerned about what happened and probaly missed it within a blink of an eye, but I do agree that that footage should not have been replayed like that. This was being broadcasted live to millions of people and was hard for us all to watch. RIP. <3

His Aortic Valve burst. Poor baby. At least he died doing what he wanted, thats the only way I'd want my mare to die. I'd want her to die barrel racing. That or in a pasture of barrels.
