This video describes a new technology used during WWII on the battlefield to find foreign objects in soldiers bodies. Very similar to fluoroscopy, it allows docs to locate shrapnel in the body making it easier and safer for removal.

  • Lol how much radiation would you receive before they located the bullet?

  • :o(

    Sorry

  • The bullet might fracture, or move within the body while on transport to the hospital. Shrapnal would be a very difficult thing to track using entry wounds. Even today, exploratory surgery is uesed to identify and remove bullets. Take into mind that this is during war, out in the field, long ago.

  • that seems like a lot of work and excess radiation - can't you just follow the entry hole and grab it from there?

  • damned... the took strongs rads
