Since time immemorial, it has been the tradition at WUML (wuml.org) for bands, DJs and hangers-on to leave graffitti on the walls of the performance space known as "The Fallout Shelter" in WUML's underground studios. Some famous and not-so-famous bands, famously including The Pixies, have performed on air here over the years. During two periods of remodeling in the last decade, some walls-full of graffitti have (sadly) been lost, but since then, other former segments of the fallout walls have been preserved and hung on the walls of the studio lobby. This video surveys some of the walls and concludes with the wall-chart of WUML's "air-chain".

WUML's studio space was originally an actual fallout shelter during the cold war years of the 1950s and early 1960s.

Music is "Pudhumaigal Seivom", a song in Tamil about innovation, written and performed by Vishwanath Krishnamurthi.
