2004 Jetta GLI Muffler Delete

My 2004 Jetta GLI with no muffler, only a straight pipe welded in place. Also have CAI and a Forge 007 about to be installed (installed now). Getting the APR DirectPort ECU Upgrade later this week (installed now). Plans for a 3" downpipe in the future. Perhaps even the big KO4 upgrade too? :)

Car no longer has a muffler delete, now has a legitimate Magnaflow muffler in place. Much better!

do you still have the cat and resonator on?

i have a 3"dp with no cat and was going to get a muffler delete, but i was going to keep the res.

I actually noticed a performance increase, and the sound isn't too bad, especially for what it is. I say it is definitely worth it.

How do you like it, is it loud but not too loud?

It really isn't that loud at all. Especially not inside the car. It sounds pretty good for the cost of it, all things considered. It drones a bit if you are coasting at 3-4k RPM, but mostly it is pretty quiet inside the cabin.

just got the muffler delete. it sounds nice. ill post a vid response to this vid in a day or to.

i have 3"dp in to stock GLI exhaust with stock Res. with muffler delete.

cool mine kinda sound like that too with the universal muffler i put. how is a magnaflow muffler through?

i just put a universal muffler in my 04 Jetta 2.0L. Also took of the resanator and put a piper makes way more nose especially with my Air intake hopefully ill post a video of it later
