  • Do you use a normal rectangualrr grid for the A* pathfinding?

  • I used a normal rectangular grid.

    With some adaptation you could probably use

    different types of grids such as a hexagonal grid.

  • google "A* Pathfinding for Beginners" and it should be the first link that comes up.

    It's very easy to understand and is not language specific.
