This video shows some pictures of Istanbul that I've taken in some of my journeys to the city. The pictures are about places, antiquities and tombs of the city of Bosphorus from the view of somebody who believes that the past and present of a Metropolis must be seen with a different angle. Istanbul in our days is a very controversial city. In the past was the sanctuary of many people. Turks, greeks, jews, armenians, kurds and europeans were living in peace and harmony giving the city a cosmopolitan breeze of air. This cosmopolitism is now lost. With these pictures I am trying to take a glance in the recent history and also the present one of the city. Byzantium, Constantinopolis or Istanbul...The name doesn't matters. Names are changing but the essence of the city will be there for all times.
