@Jkarinen There was a bit of commotion here with the comments but I take it this was directed at me right?
It's true that the Native Americans didn't fight wars in the european style, still I think I read somewhere that the tribe of Leni Lenaps was almost completely eradicated by the neighbouring tribes. As for Africa, I've seen some pictures of the weapons they used to use and those barbed and curved blades sure as hell weren't used for hunting...

@sharklord Tell that to the Poles and Ukrainians that moved from one of the most fertile regions in Europe to ICELAND to work in agriculture, because the Icelanders grow more on their frozen tundra then the Poles and Ukrainians do. In Bangladesh fertile soil is being eroded away by the floodin Ganges and Brahmaputra, while the Dutch claimed most of their farmland FROM THE SEA.

Actually.... Where ever two individuals existed with differing ideas wars and battles have been fought. American Indians didn't fight wars like Europeans or Asians did, instead they stole from one another and death was only seen in small doses. I don't know about African tribes but I'm 100% sure that there was some war between the different beliefs. No human being from the beginning history has been truly at peace with those around them.

It comes down to organisation and discipline and that won the day since Greece and Rome up until now.They managed to mold otherwise inferior troops into one fighting unit that would negate individual faults and enable them to take on a greater force of otherwise better opponents. I for one find that admirable.
