WHY DO THEY KEEP TRYING LOL
-
I don't believe these people believe what they are saying. If they do it means there stupid, if they don't it means there liars.
-
brainwashed sociopath's those clones at fox and republicans favoring corporate corruption inside the system
-
@thew No, that is what you have been brainwashed to believe. and the fix is not just about regulation, that is NOT what our government does. THEY COMPETE with private industry. The Fed and the gold standard being abolished in the 1970s is where this problem began..... really even further back than that. it has nothing to do with Reps Or Dems. just the fact that government is Always inherently evil and all we have done is give them more power and less balances.
-
@NotIkeman The problem is the government hasn't been doing its job. The 2008 financial crisis happened due to lack of regulation enforcement. The financial system went hog wild and used all kinds of shady unsustainable business-practices (they knew this when they were doing it, by the way) to get huge profits. They make money from money. They're scum and offer society nothing, yet they have so much control. How can healthcare for every man woman and child in this country be a bad thing?
-
@NotIkeman No it's not anti-government. It's pro-government. But it's not for the type of government that allows itself to be bought and sold like merchandise by the rich. You seem to not be listening to the message these people are saying. It's more about the richest 1% having too much power, influence, and control, while the majority have little say. Many politicians accept huge gobs of cash from corporations to keep everything the way they want it. The tea-partiers are anti-government.

@mographzach I realize my position in life. It sucks, but I also realize my hard work will bring rewards.
Yes, Wall Street is corrupt. Wal-Mart is horrible (I stopped shopping there in high school; haven't been back since). It seems most of these grievances are against the government, not the people on Wall Street.
-
@mographzach Climate legislation? What does climate legislation have to do with OWS? You're proving my point about a vague purpose. It seems to just invite anybody with any sort of grievance in life in general.
As far as finding a job: I've been there, done that, and probably moreso than the pampered trust-fund babies on OWS. They are not people like me because I searched, and searched, and then "settled" for the job I have now.
Universal healthcare is NOT a good thing, by the way.
Did he really just try to connect the protesters with Islamic terrorists? Wow, fuck him.
