Etrian Odyssey III - Optional Boss - Anemone (Part 1)

Stats:

17000 HP

150% Fire, Ice, Volt

25% Cut, Stab, Bash

1% Instant Death, Petrify

10% All Status Effects

30% Head, Arm, and Leg Bind


This guy is much harder than the other two. I needed to equip five Crush Amulets and use Mists. If I hadn't, it would have killed my Monk with each Tentacle Suck and restored almost 2000 HP. Instead, on some turns it restored less than 10 HP.

Its other attacks can be annoying, but nothing like the main one. It can use a very weak tentacle attack with an Instant Death chance, and a random multi-hit attack with a chance of Poison or Paralyze. It can also bind everything to everyone, which can be troublesome at times.

The worst part is its resistance to every physical element. At least its HP is kind of low.

Your party requires moar blade rave, it trumps pincushion for classes with gladiator as main

TP Battery, 'Droid, Bag full of items, and Monk (prince), I can already tell I would not get along well with you.

Not too much versatility in your party, and it needs item usage in several situations.

I prefer: Shogun(Buccaneer), Princess(Shogun), Hoplite(Arbalist), Zodiac(Gladiator), Ninja(Monk).

So much more versatility. Princess focuses on Buffs, and Warrior Might. Hoplite will switch to Arbalist(Gladiator) once I get the Elemental Prophecies on my Zodiac. Also, I'm stingy with my Items.
