@busapp Based on their body position in the video, I took "seated" to mean having your body in a standard athletic "ready" position: knees bent, back straight, head up, shoulders square. Similar to the way a basketball player would ready themselves to play defense. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
Does seated imply weight shifting back, which leads to skidding, sliding and pushing the snow. I like the term compression. This occurs when the weight is dropped down. Pivot and rotation. Hip turn great. Realistic. However, not carving. Skiing Backwards great for dealing with emergencies and how to maintain balance. Thanks
