@sebprice your comment is so wierd... you are sure that vacuum will damage someones ears. but this will not? and to a baby that will be next to it the whole time?

@T1ger8oi Might be bad for the babies ears? have you bought yours ear protectors for when you have the vacuum on because I'm sure that will damage them as well

That's okay, it scared my sister, too. We got her one for her first birthday, and the first time we turned it on, she burst into tears and refused to go near it. She got used to it, but it's never been one of her favorite toys. :P

my balls aren't popping up like yours are, I bought it used from kijiji for $12.
I read a review from a lady and she said it sucks a lot of batteries, the top continually falls off and you can't buy replacement balls. I bought my son the playskool train popper and it's a really cool toy. I hope I can get my other ball popper to work like yours, hopefully it's just the batteries.
