Belief in God - How?

How is belief in a specific God achieved? If faith is involved, then it operates under a different set of rules than the ones that normally govern what we believe.

Wow, I do a lot of research into the debates and stuff about the existence of God and the Bible and everything, and this is completely new to me. Yet, this may be the best logical point I've seen. Although, the religious person's response would be "faith".

I've always thought if religious people approached the purchase of cars with the same mindset they use when the adopt a religion, we'd be neck deep in Yugos. But invisible transcendent Yugo, of course.

@theProudMoslim You don't understand. I am not "searching for the truth." There is no such thing as "The Truth." There are true statement and propositions. There are false statements and propositions. That's all. I am reading all these documents because I want to know what they say for myself. I will not pray to your or anyone's imaginary god. I am not seeking any path to follow. No offense but I'm done here.

@Kailoa36 I am glad to see you searching the truth. continue searching & reading, & as I told U about the Quran read it completely & dont bring the idea of other books & try to implement it on Quran, bcs Quran is the unique book in the world :)

@theProudMoslim I am reading it. I just finished the first Surah. And so far I stand by my assessment. Anything is possible, but the likelyhood of my being convinced that anything in the Quran or any other "holy" book is from any god yet to proven real is remote. BTW I am also reading the other books I mentioned above. You might at least be glad to know that so far the Book of Mormon is the silliest of the four.

please dont bring the false books corrupted books with the Glorious Quran, the Glorious Quran is completely from God & its saved & pure.

U guys found the religions U born in it R false & thats Y U left it & bcs of the propaganda against Islam U guys didnt come to it & had no choice to go to atheism.

so please read the Quran & after that judge, read it completely & see other books also if U didnt see & then U will find Quran is from God & U will know God & know why U R here :)
