this is a clip from the BBC comedy series 'That Mitchell and Webb look' It takes a very interesting look at how sexist TV advertising is... it is so funny; I had to make sure more people saw it :) enjoy

@tiffanynem I think you criticize too quickly. The idea of 'equality' is understood in various ways & may offend some. It may suggest that women should be THE SAME as men, thus raising the image of the anglo-white-male as a prototype to aspire to. For others 'equality' may mean sthing different, such as equal opportunities. Personally, I would like to have the same opps. as men, but I also want raising children to be so respected that men aspire to gain paternity leave as well (for example).

I am a woman, before you start saying anything- but it is a fact marketing works on stereotypes- I'm not saying it's right- but in order to sell the product you need to make the customer think they need it more than the money.
