This is a *fantastic* homily on marriage, given by Father Constantine Aliferakis, during the wedding service of Suzana Kostur and Nikolaos Tripologos. June 8, 2008- St. Elijah Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, Merrillville, IN

  • It had to be set back to allow room for the crown. In the Serbian church, the bridal couple actually wear the crowns on their heads. She had to make sure there was even clearance. So refreshing to see covered shoulders!

  • @tkatanic I've debated whether when I finally get married if I'd want covered shoulders considering I'm Orthodox.. I never see dresses I like where shoulders are covered, but this is very nice! It is nice to see! :)

  • Good do see at last in an orthodox wedding a bride wearing a decent dress... But the veil could have been put better...
