might i add that odsts are in fact humans, and that the suit is what makes the spartan stronger. the concentration is from master chief alone.

well you know it isnt exactly easy to hold 2 msn's i mean hell even the cheif had trouble controlling them, and i mean do you know anyone that could skilfully fire 2 pistols with asmuch effectiveness as just firing one? ODST's are the best of the best compared to humans but Cheif is a geneticly and artificial augmented super soldier of course hes going to be better and as for power shields i do agree with you the ODST's should of been issued them it would of increased there effectivness by heaps

If odsts are the best of the best why cant they dual wield or use equipment. why dont they supply shields to the odst's. admit it they are expendable. why wouldn't it be a strategically good option to take it until the 3rd game. pfft, just admit the plot hole.

measly? before the SPARTAN's came along the ODST's were the best of the ebst, compared to normal humans they are the best of the best. but yeah i guess the Cheif just didnt have access to one at the time wether it was because he didnt have time to go get one or because there just wernt any available, prehaps he had the choice but just didnt think it was a strategicly good option, i mean they do only have 5 shots, im sure there heavy it takes aaages to power up i would type more but runing out of

Master chief was one of the most important guys on the battlefield, why would they not give him the best weapons possible? and give measly odst a spartan laser...

Just because the Master chied didnt use them doesnt mean they wernt around, maybe they just wernt deployed in the area of the city the cheif did battle in?
