A first test of a fully textured, lit and engined Apocalypse for a big EVE community project I am working on, provided to you in glorious 1080p. Comments welcomed!
Youtube still nuked the quality a bit, unfortunately.
Rendered in 3DS Max, Default Scanline (because it was a test, mainly). No plugins, engines done wth PFlow.
Textures all sourced from the EVE Online client, along with the Model. The problem is, ofcourse, transferring the texture mapping so it looks as close to the game as possible in the 3D space. I believe I have accomplished this - with a little extra. Due to the software not having to render in real time, I can play with reflections more.
Engines were a problem. I could not find the original sprites so opted for my design with PFlow. I feel it came out all right, for a first test. Always room for tweaking!

Tone down the trailing particle effects on the engine, looks too erratic rather than a concentrated engine burst. Otherwise great job Theo.
