Well, commercial success doesn't tell you anything about the greatness of a song. There are so many "lost", unsucessfull great songs and albums. It's the retrospective a few years later and then, Brians songs will be remembered and not Kokomo. This commercial perspective is the most boring behaviour a band can have and Mike destroyed Brian with it. Last thing: So you listen to Lady Gaga too ? She's also very sucessfull! ;)

Thats your opinion, unfortunately mine is accurate. Kokomo is the most commercially successful beach boys song, whether you like it or not. Is Pet sounds their best album, absolutely. But Kokomo IS, commercially, their best song.

Good Joke. Never heard of an album called: Pet Sounds? Kokomo is a boring popsong, songs like God only knows are the highlights of the Beach Boys and who composed them? A guy called: Brian Wilson.
