Ill Wind (ILL, not 3) - LP "Flashes" released in USA 1968
06 - High Flyin' Bird
Ill Wind was a quite good rock/psychedelic US band. It was much Jefferson Airplane-influenced, though it wasn't from San Francisco area but from east coast Massachusets (Boston).
Their only album was "Flashes". Last time it was released by Sun Beam Records on double CD with some out-takes, singles and live pieces. Check it out.
I feel Airplane's Signe Anderson does this song best-better than Grace and this Joplin-like lady. Instrumentation is great, though.

A little Joplin, a little It's a Beautiful Day with a taste of Airplane... Hmmm.... Not too sure why this one passed me by? That's why YouTube is great! Got a lot of catching up to do.

This song I believe could have been a big hit, if it was played on the radio stations regularly, back in 1968, of course! But, who ever said life was fair?
