Have I missed something.... What can you do on a Mac that you can not do on a PC? My PC does everything I can possibly think of and most importantly play games. Who the fuck would pay twice the money for something that does less than something half the price?

I know, i've never played a game on my mac, and i'll never do so, but i would just convincing everyone that games like World of Warcraft runs @ 80fps with AA and AAS on a Geforce 7300GT (24 bit c. depth, 1024x768), in Windows just at 50fps with the same components at the same resolution.

I know that Mac are designed for serious thing!

Poor OS support for most games and quadro cards arnt meant for gaming. They're meant for rendering although they can play games, it's a waste of money for a gaming PC. GG Don't call me a fanboy of either I own a mac lappy and a Gaming rig.

Nooooooo... pcs are for playing games just because people want to say so. Try a Mac Pro with a nVidia Quadro 4500 + apple cinema display 30' and you'll be blown away by the OpenGL performance on Mac OS x

as much as u say it may suck windows runs with world evry evry pice of soft ware runs on windows just give it up man and agen im not saying make sucks mac and ps r for 2 difrent types of ppl if u like to make vidos and crap get a mac if u want to play games and do work get a pc

I have a pc with intel c2d @ 2,0 Ghz, nVidia geforce 7800 GTX and 2 gb ram (and a wd raptor 36 gb + 250 gb seagate barracuda, too) and with Linux fly, with windows sucks. Windows is sooooo bad, it's so slow, since beryl can run with 5 mbytes of ram and aero need "at least" :-O 128 mb. Win suck and OpenGL 2.5 will be so better than dx10...

ever hear of vista and a lil thing called directx 10 and i dont no what pc u been on dude but my comp could somke a mac when it comes to game play now dont get me rong im not bashin mac its just they cant do what i need a computer to do wich is play games

1- Nooooo! With a Mac i cant waste my time playing stupid games! nooooo :-/.. and , btw, do you know that games for Mac OS X runs 2x faster than the same version for windows xp? Search "Leopard OpenGL".

2- With a mac you don't need upgrade. Since Windows has a crappy kernel your hardware must be upgraded every year. With Linux or Mac OS X, which are UNIX-based, you don't need upgrades. They still to be fast. I have seen OpenSUSE 10.2 on a crappy Pentium MMX @ 166Mhz running pretty fast...
