The infamous NBC Claxon sounded when the clock went to 00. I think the Claxon is warranted for bad bonus rounds like this.

@viddykiddy18 No, I stand by what I said. The way he said "pass" each time, he was obviously irritated with her. He's a seasoned performer. She's a nervous contestant on a game show, with one chance (most likely) to win big money she needs. He could have said "pass" a lot nicer, and his demeanor was close to chauvinistic. He sounded like the "belligerent director" to her "naive actress." He was just a d-ck. Hey, my two cents.

I have to say that he WAS yelling at her. I mean, dude, she's struggling...there's no reason to treat her like a hostile witness. He was a jerk through the whole thing, and only made her more nervous. "Terminal" and "planes" were terrible clues for "Airport"...she got off track cause she first heard "terminal" and thought of diseases, or diagnoses. "Planes" is just as bad...does he mean geometric planes? Plains in Kansas? Plain Peanut Butter? Yes she was nervous but he didn't help.

I think later in the run, and I know this because I remember seeing that particular clip on the defunct Super Password site back in 2006, a contestant won only $100 and the celebrity passed on most words plus give an illegal clue on D (the password was DIPLOMA and the female celebrity gave the illegal clue HIGH SCHOOL). That $100 win, plus an illegal clue added insult to injury. Definitely deserves a grade of D for sure.
